Love and romance and laughter and marriage. Weddings are meant to be filled with all of these, throw in two amazing people who have a true love not just for each other but for life. Katie and Bill’s entire wedding was everything a wedding is supposed to be and then some, I couldn’t help but smile the entire time I was there! Their love and laughter was so infectious and everyone seemed to have caught the Parks love bug on May 22nd!
They tied the knot at the gorgeous and classically elegant Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace Maryland. They had a perfect ceremony under the large courtyard to the rear of the venue because unfortunately the weather wasn’t necessarily the best, which only adds to how amazing this day was because EVERYONE was so ecstatic and all about the love, no rain was going to stop this perfect wedding day.
After these two said their insanely genuine and heartwarming vows to each other they kissed and were whisked for formals in the courtyard, as fast as possible because we were fighting the rain. Following this, a true amazing thing happened, it didn’t rain!!! I then was able to kidnap the bride and groom for their private formals at the Concord Lighthouse and piers just down the way. We had an amazing session and it was filled with so much love, these two made it so easy to capture their big day as emotional as it was!!
Then, the party happened. And it was a PARTY! The entire time I was editing and going through their reception photos I couldn’t find ONE photo that these two didn’t look madly in love with each other. Seriously. And Bill’s infectious smile was seriously in almost every shot I captured! If he wasn’t smiling, he was gazing into his wife’s eyes or singing loudly or both Katie and Bill were doing some killer air guitar!
The day ended with bubbles, smiles, kisses, and ultimately everyone leaving the wedding feeling so happy for all the love these two have for each other and the AMAZING things they are going to do with their lives.
