"Lisa is an absolutely amazing and versatile photographer. I found her after researching a ton of photographers in the area, and I knew I wanted someone that could create amazing pictures even in the worst and rainy conditions. As it turned out, it rained on my wedding day and those were some of the best photos I have ever seen! She is so down to earth and made our engagement and wedding shoots so much fun and she makes it so easy to relax and be comfortable. We are using her for our Christmas card photos too! She really captures the memories of the moment, I was absolutely stunned at her creative talent and her awesome personality!"

"I am so grateful to Lisa for being such a big part of our wedding day. It POURED during our wedding and Lisa made it feel like the rain made my wedding even better. She and her assistant Brooke, faced the elements and delivered some of the most amazing shots that rival those I have seen on Pinterest or in wedding magazines. Lisa is so fun she feels like one of your best friends right there celebrating in your special day and the important days leading up. She was also such a breath of fresh air as things got hectic, she directed people efficiently and pleasantly. She was a HUGE help throughout the day. My husband and I cannot thank her enough! "

Baltimore Maryland Wedding Photographer

Hey! I'm Lisa!
I've been shooting weddings for over 10 years but I'm not good at selling myself so whenever I write these I clearly have no idea what to say other than talking about my style. I love lighting, I love all kinds of lighting, I love soft lighting, I love natural lighting, I love full sun, full shade, backlighting, all of it, even the dirty lighting! So when I'm shooting weddings I'm always thinking about lighting the entire time. I am also thinking about how important it is to be mindful at your wedding, I am not that photographer who thinks that your wedding photos are more important than your wedding. I want all of my clients to have wonderful wedding days not just wonderful wedding photos so I try to move quickly during all aspects of the day capturing things so that you can hang out with your guests and less time taking photos but still having enough photos to look back on that you're like holy shit that was awesome. I'm really big on trying to capture all of the people at your wedding, don't get me wrong I love the details but more than anything I love capturing emotions on all of the faces of your guest, your family, and both of you. I'm big on transparency so all of my pricing is listed and I have four full wedding galleries that you are welcome to look through so that you can see start to finish what you can expect in hiring me as your wedding photographer.

If you want the honest version of what it’s like working with me, go read my Google reviews. Couples talk a lot about how chill the process feels, how I keep things moving without it getting stressful, and how I help you feel normal in photos (even if you “hate being photographed”). If you’re looking for a Maryland wedding photographer and you want real feedback from real people, those wedding photography reviews are the best place to start.

How to Book Me as Your Wedding Photographer
1. Check out my website
Before we even chat, take a look at my website to see all my packages, pricing, and what’s included. I believe in full transparency—no weird hidden fees or “DM for pricing” bullshit. You’ll get all the details upfront so you can see if I’m the right fit for your wedding.
2. Reach out to check your date
Once you’ve browsed my site and you’re feeling good about my work, shoot me an email to see if your wedding date is available. If it is, we’ll set up a quick call to go over everything, answer any questions, and make sure we’re a good match. Wedding photography is a big investment, so I want you to feel 100% confident before making any decisions!
3. Lock in your date
When you're ready to make it official, you’ll sign a contract and submit a retainer to secure your spot on my calendar. The retainer is 50% of your total package price, split into two payments. I’m happy to work with you on a custom payment plan—just let me know!
4. You’re officially booked!
Once that contract is signed and the retainer is in, we’re all set! Your wedding photography is officially handled, and you can check one more thing off your to-do list. From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps, including timelines, engagement session details (if applicable), and anything else you might need.

Frequently Asked Questions
When did you start photography?
I started in 2013. At the time, I was a teacher assistant pursuing my Master's in School Counseling at Loyola, and my husband and I found out we were expecting twins. A friend who was a full-time wedding photographer encouraged me to start shooting weddings since I was already doing family and engagement sessions. From there, I invested in my equipment and education, teaching myself everything from Lightroom to business management (even dealing with the Comptroller of Maryland).
What is your style?
I have four full wedding galleries you can browse—real weddings, not just the “best of the best” images. I want you to look through them and tell me what you think my style is! Sometimes I’m candid (that dumb term "photojournalistic") and documentarian, but other times, I need to traditionally pose you, your family, and your bridal party to get the necessary shots.
What happens if you can't be at my wedding?
This has only happened once—in 2022, when I got COVID. I kept my client in the loop the entire time and even called her at 10 PM the night I found out to personally let her know. I immediately hired an AMAZING photographer from Philly to cover the wedding, and they were absolutely thrilled with everything! There was no obligation on them to do anything—I handled it all.
If something were to happen again (which I don’t expect), your contract guarantees that I will provide a competent, professional photographer with a similar artistic style. I have a strong network of photographers I can call on if needed, so you’ll be completely taken care of.
Do you have a second photographer? Who is it?
If Brooke (my usual second shooter) isn’t available, I’ll hire another competent professional photographer with a style and skill level similar to mine. The second photographer I bring will be just as capable, so if anything unexpected happens on your wedding day, you’ll have TWO experienced photographers covering everything! I also second shoot for other photographers from time to time—we have a strong network in the Baltimore photography community.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Absolutely! I shoot with two Canon R6 cameras at every wedding, with two Canon 5D Mark IVs as backups. I also bring extensive lighting equipment to handle any lighting situation, from dark receptions to moody portraits. I typically carry 5-6 lenses and have two cameras on me at all times, so I don’t have to run back to my bag if something happens to one.
My cameras also record to TWO memory cards simultaneously, so if one card fails (thankfully, it never has), I have a backup with all of your images. With over 400 weddings under my belt, I’ve worked out all my backup solutions—losing gear is one thing, but losing irreplaceable memories is not an option.
How many weddings have you shot?
As of March 2025, I’ve photographed over 400 weddings and elopements. I take on about 30-40 weddings per year but usually end up shooting closer to 50.
Do you have insurance?
Uhm, duh. Hahaha. Every wedding photographer and vendor should have insurance. I carry $2 million in liability coverage through State Farm and can provide proof of insurance if your venue requires it.
Is there an extra charge if you need to stay at my wedding longer?
It depends. If your sparkler exit or whatever runs 10-15 minutes over, I won’t charge extra. Additional coverage hours beyond that are $695 per hour.
When will I see my images?
Contractually, between 8-10 weeks. But if you check my reviews on WeddingWire, you’ll see I usually deliver in 2-3 weeks (sometimes even sooner). I do all my editing in-house and dedicate Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to editing so I can maintain some personal time with my family. Each wedding takes me about 10 hours to edit, and I want to make sure every shot is perfect for you!

YOUR WEDDING PHOTOS + VIDEOS ARE ONE OF THE ONLY INVESTMENTS
ON YOUR WEDDING DAY THAT WILL LAST FOREVER.
WEAR THE DRESS ONE DAY.
ALL THE FLOWERS DIE.
THE DJ PACKS UP.
CAKE & FOOD IS GONE.
so this investment is important

Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but breaking it into steps makes it easier. First, set a budget—this dictates everything from the venue to the guest list. Speaking of guests, make a rough list early, since your headcount will impact venue options. Venues and key vendors like photographers (hey, that’s me!), caterers, and florists book up fast, so lock those in as soon as possible. If you’re wearing a wedding dress, order it months in advance to allow time for alterations. Invitations should go out about two months before the big day, with RSVPs due shortly after. Don’t forget the legal side—each state has different marriage license requirements. As the wedding approaches, confirm details with vendors, create a timeline, and accept that not everything will go perfectly. The important part? You’re marrying your person. The rest is just a really great party.

Hey friends! Let’s be real, wedding planning is already enough of a headache, so I’m not about to make you jump through hoops just to figure out how much I charge. All my pricing is right there on my website, no awkward “so what’s your budget?” convos, no surprise fees. What you see is what you get.
I do this because I genuinely want you to feel good about booking me. No shady sales tactics, no pressure—just straight-up info so you can decide if I’m the right fit. If my vibe and pricing work for you, amazing! If not, no hard feelings. And if you need something a little different, just reach out, and we’ll figure it out.
