"Lisa is an absolutely amazing and versatile photographer. I found her after researching a ton of photographers in the area, and I knew I wanted someone that could create amazing pictures even in the worst and rainy conditions. As it turned out, it rained on my wedding day and those were some of the best photos I have ever seen! She is so down to earth and made our engagement and wedding shoots so much fun and she makes it so easy to relax and be comfortable. We are using her for our Christmas card photos too! She really captures the memories of the moment, I was absolutely stunned at her creative talent and her awesome personality!"

"I am so grateful to Lisa for being such a big part of our wedding day. It POURED during our wedding and Lisa made it feel like the rain made my wedding even better. She and her assistant Brooke, faced the elements and delivered some of the most amazing shots that rival those I have seen on Pinterest or in wedding magazines. Lisa is so fun she feels like one of your best friends right there celebrating in your special day and the important days leading up. She was also such a breath of fresh air as things got hectic, she directed people efficiently and pleasantly. She was a HUGE help throughout the day. My husband and I cannot thank her enough! "

Baltimore Area On Location Photo Shoots
On Location Sessions

ENGAGEMENT | MATERNITY | FAMILY |SENIOR PORTRAITS
Let’s get out of the studio and create photos somewhere that feels like you.
This page includes senior portraits, family sessions, maternity photography, child portraits, couples, milestones, and pretty much any other type of photography done on location, including sessions at your home. Outdoor and on-location sessions are available within 30 miles of 21102 and are relaxed, lightly guided, and focused on creating a mix of beautiful portraits and real moments.
All locations must be approved before booking. Some locations may fall outside my travel radius at certain times of the year depending on distance, scheduling, permits, accessibility, and other logistics. I’ll help you choose a location that fits the style you want while making sure it works well for your session.

Locations I Love
One of my favorite things about outdoor photography is that every session can feel completely different. Whether you’re booking family photos, maternity portraits, senior pictures, or photos of your kids, I’ll help you choose a location that fits your style.
Some of my favorite Harford County photography locations include Swan Harbor Farm, Jerusalem Mill Village, and Liriodendron Mansion. In Baltimore County, I love Oregon Ridge Park and Cromwell Valley Park, while Hammerman Beach and North Point State Park are great for a waterfront look.
I also photograph sessions throughout Howard County, including the Howard County Conservancy, and I love Kinder Farm Park in Anne Arundel County for its fields, barns, and relaxed farm feel.
For something more urban, Patterson Park and Fells Point are always favorites. Family photos can absolutely work in the city, especially when we keep things relaxed and let everyone walk, explore, and have fun together.
Some locations require permits, reservations, or entrance fees, so all locations must be approved before booking. Permit locations usually need at least four to six weeks of lead time.

"We're so awkward in photos. Can you help?"
Seriously... almost every couple, family, and senior says this before their session.
The good news? You don't have to know what you're doing. That's my job.
Whether you've booked an engagement session, family photos, maternity portraits, or senior pictures, I'll guide you through the whole thing without making you feel stiff or overly posed. We won't spend an hour forcing fake smiles at the camera. Instead, I'll have you walking, talking, laughing, playing with your kids, or just hanging out together while I give you simple prompts that create natural moments.
Most of my clients tell me they were nervous before their session and leave saying, "That was actually really fun."
So if you've been putting off booking outdoor photos because you think you're not photogenic, I promise you're not the first person to feel that way. You don't need modeling experience, and you definitely don't need to know what to do with your hands. Just show up, trust the process, and I'll take care of the rest.

Will you tell us what to do?
Yes! You do not need to show up knowing how to pose, where to stand, or what to do with your hands. I will guide you through the entire session, from how to position your body to when to move, where to look, and how to interact naturally with each other.
Your only job is to arrive with a good attitude, stay open to a little silliness, and be willing to enjoy the experience together. We may walk, cuddle, play, laugh, or try something that feels a little different at first. The families who trust the process and allow themselves to have fun are usually the ones who leave with the most natural, connected images.
I will keep things moving, work with your children’s energy, and gently redirect whenever needed. Nothing has to be perfect, but your mindset does shape the experience. When everyone feels pressured to perform or worries about every little detail, the session can start to feel stressful. When you trust me, stay flexible, and focus on enjoying your family, that is when the best moments unfold.
You will receive a beautiful mix of timeless portraits and relaxed, candid images that genuinely feel like your family. I will take care of the posing, the light, and the little details. You simply need to show up ready to be present with the people you love.

Location Fees & Permit Information
Some parks, gardens, and historic properties charge photography fees or require permits. Whenever a permit or reservation is required, it is the client's responsibility to purchase or obtain it before the session. I'm always happy to point you in the right direction and let you know exactly what's needed.
If you're choosing a location that requires a permit, I ask that you book at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance. This is especially important for Baltimore County parks, as permit processing can take several weeks depending on the time of year.
Not sure where you want to go? No problem. Tell me the look you're dreaming of, whether that's wildflowers, waterfront sunsets, tall grass, gardens, woods, city streets, or something completely different, and I'll recommend locations that fit your vision while working within your budget, timeline, and the season.
Why choose an outdoor or on-location session instead of the studio?
Outdoor and on-location photography gives your session a more personal, relaxed feel. Instead of working within one studio setup, we can choose a location that matches your style, whether that’s an open field, waterfront, garden, city street, historic property, or even your own home.
These sessions are perfect if you love natural light, movement, and photos that feel a little more lived-in. Kids can explore, couples can walk and interact, and families have more space to be themselves. The result is a gallery filled with beautiful portraits, real moments, and a setting that feels connected to your story.

Weather & Outdoor Sessions
Beautiful outdoor portraits deserve beautiful conditions. That's why every outdoor session includes one complimentary weather date, giving us the flexibility to wait for the best light and the most enjoyable experience for you and your family.
When We May Reschedule
If the forecast calls for conditions such as steady rain, thunderstorms, high winds, extreme temperatures, or anything that would negatively affect your comfort or the quality of your photographs, I'll reach out to discuss moving your session to your reserved weather date.
I'll keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session and make the final decision if needed. My priority is always creating the best possible experience and photographs, not simply photographing on the scheduled date.
Your Complimentary Weather Date
If Mother Nature doesn't cooperate on your original session date, we'll simply move to your complimentary weather date at no additional cost.Building a weather date into your session allows us to avoid rushing or settling for less-than-ideal conditions, ensuring you receive the beautiful, timeless images you invested in.
If We Need More Flexibility
While it's uncommon, sometimes both your original session date and your reserved weather date experience unfavorable conditions.
If that happens, don't worry. Rather than asking you to compromise, your retainer can be applied toward a future outdoor session or an in-studio session, allowing you to choose the option that works best for your family.
Because I intentionally accept a limited number of outdoor sessions throughout the year, my calendar often fills months in advance. Offering flexible credit options ensures you aren't forced into a date that doesn't fit your schedule while still preserving the full value of your investment.
My Promise to You
Outdoor photography is beautifully unpredictable, and that's part of what makes it so special. My goal is to make the planning process as stress-free as possible while ensuring you receive photographs you'll love for years to come. If the weather isn't right, we'll find the option that is.

OUTFIT GUIDE & INSPIRATION
Your Outfit Guide Is Just That... A Guide
The outfit guide is meant to inspire, not overwhelm. You'll find color palettes, outfit ideas, and examples for different family sizes and styles, but there are no rules here. The best outfit is one that feels like you. If you have a favorite dress, a cozy sweater you always reach for, or clothing that makes you feel confident and comfortable, wear it! The guide is simply a starting point to help you coordinate without the stress. My goal is for your family to look cohesive while still feeling authentic, comfortable, and completely yourselves. After all, these photos should reflect your family, not someone else's Pinterest board.

Outdoor Family Photography Collections
Outdoor sessions are one of my favorite ways to photograph families because they give us room to move, play, laugh, and create images that feel natural to you.
These sessions are a premium offering because there is more care built into the experience. I help you choose the right location, plan around the best light, keep a close eye on the weather, and reserve a complimentary rain date so we never have to force a session in conditions that are not right.
Professional family portraits are a luxury, and I take that seriously. My goal is not for these images to sit forgotten on your phone. I want them printed, framed, shared with grandparents, and turned into artwork you get to enjoy every day. That is why every outdoor collection includes a print credit to help you bring your photographs into your home.
