I absolutely LOVE whenever I get an inquiry for a wedding at the Vandiver Inn. Not only is this venue gorgeous but it is so my style. It's historic, rustic, elegant, gorgeous, and romantic. I love this place, but I loved working with Amanda & David SO much more!!!
We had the joy of doing their engagement photos around Baltimore and we were able to go to Camden Yards to get a few shots as well! I knew that these two, from the moment we sat down and met at Panera, were going to be so much fun to work with. The engagement session was a blast and so much fun to capture.
The wedding day, everything was happening so quickly, like most weddings, but luckily Amanda & David planned a first look! During this first look everything slowed down, and while we were battling with the Saturday crowds at the lighthouse in Havre de Grace everything seemed to stop and slow a little when David saw Amanda in her wedding dress for the first time. This moment was so perfect I even got goosebumps as I was capturing it!
After the bridal party portraits I was able to work with just Amanda and David during their formal portraits and it was truly amazing. I asked these two to focus on each other and work with my poses, but to mainly focus on eachother, enjyoing these moments as they make up their wedding day. The wedding day isn't just another day or a "big party" like some people talk about, it's the FIRST day of the rest of these two people's lives together and David & Amanda knew it.
They had an amazing wedding and it was just SO beautiful, I love sharing their images because it really was me capturing their moments from this day and keeping these memories of the first day of their life together.
I <3 Being a Wedding Photographer!!! Thank you Amanda & David for allowing me to be your photographer!!!!
