WEDDINGS + ENGAGEMENTS

I love being a wedding photographer and best of al I get to photograph some of the kindest most amazing people ever in gorgeous places! Also, I specialize in candid, photojournalistic story telling so I can capture their big day just as it happened so they can put the cell phone down and enjoy their wedding day.

LIFESTYLE + PORTRAITS

Portraits and lifestyle are my first loves in the photography field! I love meeting new people and capturing their stories through the lens of a camera so they can share for generations! I also love mentoring and working with other photographers to help them with their business and I'm always community over competition!

Harrison + Jasmyn's Rustic Chic Wedding

When I got an email from an old friend I went to high school with about shooting a wedding in my hometown of Hereford Maryland I couldn't have been more excited!! That friend, Kristen Hoover, was their wedding coordinator for the day and it couldn't have been any better than it was!

These two are so laid back and just a joy to be around. They brought smiles to literally everyone at the wedding, and while I know that at weddings people tend to smile a lot, this was different. Everyone at the wedding was so active in the couple's lives and were so undoubtedly happy for them because their love was so true and perfect.

The day started off just as amazing as it ended. The sun was out and it was a nice breezy summer day in Manchester Maryland, just outside of the "Hereford Zone". The ceremony took place at a personal residence that overlooked a gorgeous pond and the greenery was insanely saturated and perfect. After the ceremony, where there wasn't a dry eye on the property, we took the couple's formal photos by the pond and in one of the gorgeous barns that was on the property. I knew these two were going to be amazing to work with because they let me expose my moody and emotional photographer side. I love the bright and airy look, I truly truly do, however with this barn and the way the light touched the cracks and doorway, we HAD to go a little darker. It was perfect.

The day ended at the Bonvissuto property in Parkton Maryland. The reception was out of a dream and the food was absolutely to die for, given that Mission Barbecue catered it!!! Everything was so utterly simplistic, rustic, and elegantly done and it was all DIY!

It was such a pleasure to meet this couple and I can't wait to see what is in store for their adventure!!!! Thanks for trusting me to capture your wedding day!!
