Lauren is one of those people you meet and you feel like you’ve known each other forever. From the first meeting until the end of her wedding I knew this was an amazing marriage about to happen. They tied the knot at the ever gorgeous La Banque de Fleuve outside on the elegant lawn in front of a gorgeous Chesapeake Bay backdrop. The day couldn’t have been more gorgeous and the weather couldn’t have been any better than it was. The sky poured out blue and colors onto the natural backdrop that is the Chesapeake bay where these two shared their vows and took their formal photos. It was an absolutely perfect evening under the stars because while there was a large tent to host the delicious catering, the bride and groom and ALL o their guests danced on the uncovered patio out under the stars with the bay breeze to cool off the night. Best Day Ever. Here are some words from the bride herself about this amazing day!!
"Everything happens for a reason” is what comes to mind when I think of how Brenton and I first met back in 2011. We met through mutual friends and while I knew it was love at first sight and that he was the one I HAD to spend the rest of my life with, Brenton needed a little convincing, but it didn’t take him long to realize that I was the one either. The first night we met we spent the entire evening and next morning talking about this, that and the third, it was like we had known each other for years. Our conversation was so powerful that we didn’t even go to bed that night. Brenton really wasn’t one to “date” so we had to “talk” for a year and a half before we officially started dating. Brenton proposed to me on the beach in Jamaica on June 20, 2015 and it was the happiest day of my life until June 4th when we got married. Our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. There’s nothing more attractive then to see a grown man cry and I couldn’t help but lose it as I walked down the aisle to see him standing there in tears. Our ceremony was short and sweet but so sentimental, dinner and deserts were absolutely delicious. There was a moment during our reception where it was just Brenton and I standing there and we just said to ourselves, just like our cake topper said it really was the “Best Day Ever”.
