Katherine heard about me through another bride that I photographed in 2015, I love that my past clients love to refer me and I'm so glad that Shelby referred me to Katherine + Evan because these two are amazing. I'm so excited about sharing these photos and so happy for these guys! We had an amazing fun time just gallivanting around the memorial and then around the wooded areas surrounding the memorial in D.C. They're from Virginia so we figured this would be a great place to meet "in between" to get these gorgeous images!

As a side note, I love lighting and I feel that the lighting of an image truly tells a story and captures an emotion that is going on. Whether it be a dark and moody image, which I'm totally all about, or the light and bright pastel I'm in love with ALL light scenarios. I feel like for a while I've been trying to "find my niche" when it comes to the lighting and editing styles I do, but in reality I just want to capture ALL types of light situations and create emotional imagery. In any light situation, I'm totally down to create gorgeous shots.
