On September 21st Taylor + Tasha got married, and it was a gorgeous, stylish, rose gold, perfect kinda day.
Tasha, originally from Florida and Taylor, who is from the Maryland area, met while they were both attending college at Florida A&M University. After history class, Taylor went up to Tasha asking her to be his, "study buddy", I mean how cute is that?! Then, after about a year of being friends, feeling out the water, they started dating!!! Taylor decided to pop the question with an absolutely stunning rose gold ring, which by the way is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE METAL!!! Like, dude... rose gold is the best of both worlds, easy to look at, not too "vintage" but classic, and will stay classic... gahh love. He proposed at National Harbor where their first date was!!
In their free time, Tasha and Taylor LOVE to head to the beach together and be on the water, so it was just a perfect idea to get married at Celebrations. When planning your wedding day, I always love when couples choose to REALLY include their likes and take into account their personalities so that they combine two families at one location that is true to them!!! They chose to get married at Celebrations at the Bay because it was the best of both worlds for them, water (because Tasha is from a state surrounded by water) and Maryland (since Taylor is local). They absolutely loved the feel of the venue because it had that spectacular water view and just felt right! They did a mixture of DIY wedding decor but also hired the ridiculously talented and kind Feyisola of Statuesque Events to help Tasha + Taylor really enjoy their wedding day!!! Hiring a professional wedding planner/coordinator is such a great investment, it's so that all the hard work you did to plan and create a vision isn't interrupted by trying to micromanage your own wedding day! Just sit back and enjoy and that's exactly what happened!!!
These two, are also my kind of people... they LOOOOVE the walking dead.... oh an Game of Thrones... like these two are on point with there TV shows, am I right?!?!?!? I'm legit obsessed!!! Also, love just hanging around the house and snuggling on the couch to Netflix, who doesn't love this?! This two are just so down to earth, in love, and so genuine. I'm super happy I got to get to know them better!!!!!
