So I'm totally down with waking up early in the morning for gorgeous photos, but this was just extreme. I live about 1.5 hours from Washington DC on a good day so in order for us to get these summer sunrise shots I had to walkup at LEAVE my house by 4A.... so talk about dedication to those shots! Hahahaha. Maria and Craig met me at the Lincoln memorial and OH MY GOD we got the most PERFECT sunrise and I don't think I could have been happier with the decision to turn off the snooze button and wake up on time for this!

We walked around the area with their ADORABLE pup and believe it or not... there were a TON of people there walking, running, doing exercise (something I'm obviously not familiar with let alone in the early morning when I'm dead to the world asleep still). So I'm also totally impressed with our ability to maneuver around those people and you know... photoshop!
